Large Leaf Platter

I just love making these leaf platters- The leaves are exceptional in size and are foraged whilst walking in the local countryside! I press them into the clay and after some refinement they are bisque fired, then the vein texture is highlighted with an oxide wash, and then glazed with my own semi-transparent celadon green… lovely!
This platter is 33cm by 20cm in size
