Hanging planter with leaf resist detail

To make this hanging planter, I have thrown the piece on the Potters wheel with stoneware toasted clay, allowed it to dry and it has been trimmed, then holes have been added for the straps Which are faux suede. The pattern is achieved through wax resist which is applied to prevent the glaze from touching the clay beneath, creating a resist affect- The toasty speckled clay Comes through the glaze perfectly! This is a glaze that I make myself, a semi transparent grey-blue Which becomes opaque where applied more thickly! It is 12 cm tall and 13 cm wide and will easily accommodate a 9 inch plant pot!
